Movie Review
21 Jump Street
· Directors: Phil Lord, Chris Miller
· Genre: Action, Comedy, Crime
· Running Time: 109 minutes
· Rating: R
· My Grade: A+
I went renting this movie not
knowing what the movie would be about, only knowing that it was supposed to be
funny. All my friends saw the movie and told me to watch the movie. At the
beginning it starts off with a flashback of when Schmidt and Jenko were in high
school. Jenko always bullied Schmidt but at that time they did not know that
later on in life they would become best friends. When they both became cops
they became friends, they were working at the park making sure nothing bad is
happening. They have to work at the park because they are both bad cops. After
they mess up and don't follow the rules so they get sent to 21 Jump Street to
be undercover cops as high scholars. They are trying to find high school
students selling drugs. That is all that I am going to tell you about the movie
if you want to know more then you need to go watch the movie.
The setting of this movie is in a
high school. It’s not just in a high school though there is also a couple
scenes at houses. This movie is mainly based in a high school but it also shows
the cops reporting back to the leader of 21 Jump Street.
I don't think just anyone could play
the part of Jenko (Channing Tatum) or Schmidt (Jonah Hill). The way that Tatum
really put a big effort in to seaming like a high school student, same thing
with Hill. The whole movie seems like it was put together as if it was real
life. Some of the things that happen in the movie happen in real life also.
I think that this movie is a very
good movie, it is funny and action packed. There is a lot of comedy also. My
rating for this move is an A+. I think that all the actors were great, the way
they laid the movie out it made it fill like you were in the movie with them.
At the end of the movie it shows a
lot about what selling drugs and doing drugs can do to you. Throughout the
whole move it really does give a lesion on friendship and how that some things
can mess with your friend ship with someone. It also really shows that a
friendship is not easy to keep up with if you don't hang out with the same
person. So I highly recommend for you to watch this movie I think it is a good
move for anyone that age of 13 and above as long as it is ok with your parents,
or if your 18 years or older.
